Before I proceed further some disclaimers here. If you are thinking from the title that I have been able to resolve the problem completely, unfortunately it’s not. I had a similar problem where I had to share data over cross domains hybrid pages (site/app online hosted by Microsoft and app component hosted on-premise). I used “postMessage” and some event handlers to request parent site (online) data and receive it in child component (on-premise). I think the approach in the blog is a good one.
